Vacancies on the Parish Council.

There are two vacancies on the Parish Council.

The Parish Council has advertised these vacancies in two ways, so far;-

  • It has posted formal statutory notices on all Parish Council village notice boards. This notice, an example of which can be seen below, invited those interested as to how to put themselves forward for formal election. The Parish Council received no expressions of interest from these notice.
  • It then posted an informal information poster inviting interested persons to let the Parish Council know, via the Clerk, that they may wish to be co-opted onto the Parish Council.

At the forthcoming meeting of the Parish Council the Council will set a date for interviewing candidates for co-option. Persons who wish to be considered for co-option will be informed of the date and advised of the arrangements.
