The next meeting of the Parish Council will be an ordinary meeting and will be held on Tuesday 16th July 2024, starting at 7.30pm. There will be a Public Participation Session prior to this starting at 7.15pm. Please note that this meeting will be held at Warsill Village Hall

Bishop Thornton, Shaw Mills and Warsill Parish Council

Welcome, to the civil parish of Bishop Thornton, Shaw Mills and Warsill website.

The Parish Council area consists of three distinct settlements; Bishop Thornton, Shaw Mills and Warsill we are in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire.

It lies to the north of Harrogate and the south west of the city of Ripon. Set in the beautiful countryside on the edge the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, North Yorkshire.

There are two wards in the civil parish; Bishop Thornton (which includes Shaw Mills) and Warsill.
